Flexibility progress comes in waves, it ebbs and flows. It’s a good idea to regulate the intensity of your workouts to include shorter and less intense practices. Not every practice needs to be a peak practice. Some training sessions are about digging into the deepest range of motion, while others are more about maintaining and refining the quality of your work.
These routines start with an alignment focused conditioning. Even with a shorter routine, warm up is essential flex training. For those of you who are pressed for time, these mini routines give you quick hit of flex for those days when a full practice isn’t an option.

In this middle splits mini routine we practice a series of hip opener stretches, progressing to pancake and middle splits.
